have a black MC cl??s and have experienced no problems with chipping, etc - but I don't use it on a daily basis. I would think that for a daily wallet that's going to get a lot of use, one of the other canvases might be a better choice in the long run. I don't think Vernis would be affected by use in a warm climate, though - as someone else said, when they say it shouldn't be left in the heat they mean i louis vuitton purse
