A better question is how many nuclear plants have experienced electrical load transients and line losses due to wind farms during storms. The bad thing about windmills is that they will pick up load until the wind is blowing too fast and then they shut down (full feather) to protect the blading and generator.
We have experienced line losses and transients where the transmission operator finally had to disconnect the wind farms to avoid losing the whole grid.
